This course is an introduction to the fundamental basics of psychology from the perspectives of both the natural scientist and social scientist. It covers human behavior in areas such as physiological and biological psychology; cognitive, moral, and emotional development; sensation and perception; consciousness; personality; intelligence; learning; thinking; and memory. It acquaints the student with the language and principles of psychology and psychological perspectives including biological, psychoanalytic, and behavioral approaches. Psychological disorders will also be covered.

Students may enroll at any time and complete work at their own pace. You will be required to test with a proctor at the high school several times during each class. Our proctors are:
