Leadership Matters- Focus on Kindness

With the new year, we make resolutions, set goals, and are motivated to start anew. As part of our efforts to improve our lives and those around us, I suggest we add a little more of one of my favorite topics -- kindness.
“Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you," said Princess Diana of Wales.

New Stansbury High Head Footabll Coach

We are excited to announce our new head coach, Eric Alder. Coach Alder will be coming to us from Ben Lomond High School where he has been the head coach for the past 5 years. Eric has 17 years of coaching experience and has help coach at Mountain Crest, Sky View, and Morgan. Eric earned both his Bachelors of Arts: History Major, ESL Minor, and his Masters of Education: Health, Physical Education & Recreation from Utah State University. He is certified to teach Health, PE, Social Studies, Athletic Skills, ESL and Spanish.

Coach Alder and his wife Kasey are proud parents of 3 beautiful kids: Max, Ali, and Wesley. Kasey, who also has a teaching degree and currently teaches 7th grade science, said she is a bigger football fan than Eric. They are thrilled to become part of the Stansbury community and are fully committed to continued success at Stansbury High School.

Postponement Tonight’s Scheduled Events

Parent Teacher Confrences have been postponed we will send out more information on a rescheduled time. Tonight’s Boys Basketball games at Tooele High School have been postponed until tomorrow night. Game times are as follows: Sophomore 3:30 PM Main Gym; Freshman 4:45 Small Gym; 5:15 JV Main Gym, 7:00 PM Varsity Main Gym.
