The Stansbury Stallions Softball Team will be unveiling our new
jersey to recognize an amazing woman who has been tenaciously battling breast cancer this past year. Toni Broadhead is married to Scott Broadhead and they have 4 children and two grandchildren.
Toni has meant so much to the Stallions Softball and Baseball Programs over the past 9 years and we would like to take a moment to recognize her. Toni we just want you to know how courageous you are and that you truly are our HERO.
In addition, the Stallions Softball Team will recognize Toni at the Swing for Life Softball Tournament on April 28th at the Cottonwood Complex @ 1 p.m. All of the proceeds collected for this event by SHS Softball will be donated to Breast Cancer Research in Toni Broadhead’s name.
On May 1st the Stallions Softball Team will be hosting its first annual Bases 4 Broadhead game vs Juan Diego @ 3:30 pm, where we will take a few moments to recognize Toni Broadhead.
Also, on May 1st the Stallions Baseball Team will be hosting its first annual Bases 4 Broadhead game vs Bonneville @ 3:30 pm. Toni Broadhead will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.
For both games we will be keeping track of how many bases each team reaches during the course of both games. All of the proceeds raised through pledges and donations will be given to Breast Cancer Research in Toni Broadhead’s honor on behalf of the Stansbury High School Softball and Baseball Teams.
Show up to the games and wear pink and show your support for Toni by throwing breast cancer a curve ball.
