Seniors – If you haven’t submitted your yearbook quote, October 11th is the final deadline. Check the email attached to your email for the link, or come after school to Mr. Durka’s room (number 203) and give him your quote.
Come learn how to swing dance with the ballroom team on Monday October 14th. from  7-8pm in the small gym. Cost is $10 for couples and $7 for singles. This activity is for ages 14 and up - come have some fun with us!
Health Care Career Fair on October 30th we are taking students to, registration closes tomorrow (Friday) so please sign up ASAP!  Registration forms are in Mr. Leonelli’s and Dr. Brown’s Room or in Mrs. Clawson’s and Mrs. Johnson’s room in the Counseling office.  When you register you will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card!
College Week Trivia: Todays’ questions are: Which type of colleges offer shorter certificate programs designed to qualify students to work in a variety of technical occupational fields? If you’re looking to quickly start a job in a competitive and demanding industry, this college is for you. Taking the right classes to DOUBLE your odds of completing college, get better scores on the ACT, and prepare for scholarships may be influenced by taking how many years of MATH? True/False Students enrolled in CTE courses have a 95% rate of graduation compared to the statewide 86% graduation rate.
Scattered around the school are college logos.  If you find a logo, bring it to the Counseling Office for a prize. If you find a Green “S” for “Slippery Rock” bring it to the Counseling Office for a different prize.
Now that Homecoming Week is over please remember that hats are to come off at the door.
Flu Shots are here on October 22nd.
Stallions – Please lock up your belongings! Do not leave them in a backpack on the bench in the locker room; charging or just lying around. If they are not locked up – they are not safe!
Wrestling open rooms are Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3-4:30pm.


Place your used toners in the faculty room recycling box. Please let the office know when this is full so that we can recycle the toner and replace the box.
Costco will be here Monday during both lunches for their annual membership drive.
