Seniors: Jostens will be here Friday, Feb. 16th, during both lunches handing out your announcements and other keepsake items.
This week is Family, Career, Community Leaders of America or FCCLA Week. We have some fun activities planned that you are all invited:
- Friday, February 16th: FCCLA will host their first annual Copper Chef Competition at 3:00. Ten teams of up to 4 will compete for 1 hour and 20 minutes to prepare and plate their dishes, highlighting the mystery ingredient. Judging starts at 4:30. The team in first place will receive $100, second $80 and third $60. Teams must be registered and have the competition fee paid by February 12th, register ASAP for a better chance of getting in. The cost to register is $5.00 paid to the finance office. Bring the receipt to Mrs. Johnson or Mrs. Dalton in room 152, 153, or 154. First 10 teams signed up will be competing.
Boys Soccer try-outs are Monday, February 26th. If you plan on trying out please come talk to Coach Jones in Room 223 to get information.
Bury Café will be March 2 from 6-8:00 pm. Sign-ups are now on the main office door.
Student Government Election Packets are now available in Mr. Lundwall’s room 214. They are due back no later than March 17th before 3:00 p.m.
Battle of the Bands has been canceled due to lack of bands. (Only 1 band signed up).
Skills USA meets every Monday right after school in room 161.
History Club meets every other Monday from 2:45 to 4:00PM in Mr. Bryant’s room 165. Check out the posters around school to get the specific dates.
FBLA meets on Mondays at 2:45 in room 136. Everyone is welcome!
Photography Club meets every Tuesday from 2:45 to 4 p.m. in Mr. Bryant’s classroom, room 265. Everyone is welcome! Please bring your camera each time.
