Homecoming Week is in full swing: Please be respectful of the decorations that have been put up. Daily activities are found on the posters in the hall.
Don’t forget to vote for the Homecoming Royalty today. The web address can be found on the posters in the hall. You may vote until 1:00.
National Honor Society applications are due Friday, the 21st
Senior Superlatives and quotes are due back on September 20th. Return to room 203.
For those Native Americans going to the Student Leadership Conference on Wednesday, September 26th please bring your parent permission slips to the main office.
Seniors check out the SHS Scholarship website. There are some really amazing scholarships available with due dates in the fall. The site will be updated on a regular basis as new scholarships become available. If you need help, stop by the Counseling Office to see Mrs. Cavey.
Seniors who want to apply to have the Biliteracy Seal on your transcript, make sure you have your application to the counselors by Oct. 1st so tests can be ordered.
The Native Americans Opening Social will be on October 4th at 6:00 p.m. at Northlake Elementary.
Girls Basketball Open Gym will be held on Monday’s from 7:00-8:30pm! If you are interested in playing this is a great way to gain an advantage and get some extra practice in before tryouts in November!
Interested in a career in the military? The ASVAB test date is October 2nd. Sign up in the counseling center if you are a Sophomore, Junior or Senior.
Drama Club meets every Tuesday after school in Mr. Carpenter’s room.
Come join the Debate Team! We meet every Thursday and Friday after school in Mr. Carpenter’s room.
