FCCLA Region 2 activity at FAT CATS is tonight after school from 4-8 pm. Meet at the rock on the east side of the building. The next FCCLA meeting will be November 2 after school in room 154.

Improv meeting Tuesday, October 17th, at 2:45 in Mr. Carpenter’s Room. We will be discussing our Murder Mystery next weekend as well as the Utah Theatre Association Trip in January.

Boys’ soccer parent/player meeting Tuesday, October 17th 6:00 pm out on the soccer field for all those interested in pre-season work-outs for the upcoming spring season.   

All boys who are interested in playing tennis should to come to an informational meeting after school @ 2:45 on Tuesday the 17th in Coach Smith’s room, room 222. 

Health Department will be here offering Flu Shots on Tuesday, October 17th, starting at 8:00am. Students must bring back the signed permission slip that is inside the packets that were sent home Friday during 2nd period.

Literary Magazine submissions are still being accepted through October 18th. See Miss Augustine in room 209 or the flyers in the hall for questions. 

Pathways 2 Professions Career Fair is October 25th and 26th at the South Towne Expo Center. We are taking one bus each day, please pick up a bus permission slip to attend one of those days from Mrs. Clawson in the Career Center or from any CTE teacher. This career fair is a lot of fun, there will be hundreds of booths, hands on experiences, lots of free stuff, and exposure to hundreds of companies, businesses, and schools. There will be thousands of students there from the entire state, so come and join us! 

Be a part of SHS’s Literary Magazine. Applications are available in room 209. Submissions are due October 27th in room 209. Let your work be heard. Everyone is welcome. 

2017-18 PTA Reflections Contest has started. The theme this year is “Within Reach”. All entries are due by October 27th. Check out the flyers in the hall.  

Hope Squad is fundraising and collecting materials for Days for Girl. It is a non-profit organization that helps girls STAY in SCHOOL. Things we need: One-gallon size Ziploc freezer bags, travel size soap, Girls underwear (girls size 10-14) Washcloths, 100% cotton fabric, cotton flannel, PUL fabric. You can drop any of these items off to Mrs. Broadhead room 141 or Mrs. Johnson in ISS. Thank you so much for your support.

Yearbooks are currently on sale. If you buy one before December 21st, they will cost $50. After the 21st, the cost rises to $55. Pay at the finance office. 

If you have not picked up your ID card you may pick it up after school in room 203. Activity cards can be picked up in the Finance Office.

If you have not picked up your picture packets please check with Mr. Durka in room 203.

FBLA will be meeting on Monday’s at 2:45 in room 136. Everyone Welcome! 

Photography Club meets every Tuesday from 2:45 to 4 p.m. in Mr. Bryant’s classroom, room 165. Everyone is welcome! Please bring your camera each time. 

The next book club meeting will be on Halloween.

Girls’ basketball open gym Mondays from 6-7:30 p.m.
